Union Catalogue of Libraries of Valka, Smiltenes, Strenči municipality libraries
Here You can find two databases:
• The Electronic Catalogue reflects three stocks of municipal public and school libraries: books, audiovisual documents, cartographic materials, publishing, imaging, electronic resources, other documents in Latvian, Russian, English and other languages.
• The department of County research contains differentiated information of the publications of the newspaper “Ziemeļlatvija” (“North Latvia”), as well as other materials on people, places and events of the former district of Valka and the present municipalities of Valka, Smiltene and Stenči.

To be able to order books, extend the deadline, see your data on books issued and ordered, you must be a library reader and be asked to create reader authorization data, user name and password, in your subscription.
If you have already registered but you have not been granted authorization, you can also receive it in your e-mail by writing to valkasbiblioteka@valka.lv.
The mobile version of the catalog is also available to mobile device users.
When you type in the search engine, the valka.biblioteka.lv/Alise device will recognize the mobile version immediately, if it does not, then you must click “Mobile version” in the lower-right corner of the screen when you open the normal catalog.
